Over 8 years of development have gone into osCommerce, from the main team, to a growing number of community contributors.

It has grown from a small open source ecommerce solution, to probably, one of the most widely used solutions to date, with features other carts simply do not have.

It has also spawned many deriratives, including zen cart, magneto and cre-loaded to name but a few.

Combined with the 1000’s of additional contributions developed and made available by the community, it is possible to adapt osCommerce to cater for practically any ecommerce solution.
